Heath House
Materiality and high functionality are the defining features of this elegant open-plan kitchen, which was tailored to suit its owners’ taste for timeless Japandi-influenced design and their love for cooking. A generous island serves as a practical and visually anchoring element in the bright, airy space, blending the warmth of wood with Brazilian quartzite. The stone is echoed in the bespoke molded sink and striking shelved feature wall above. The island is crafted in a frame of solid birch plywood with quarter-cut Shaker doors and drawers in oak, featuring scoop handles for a seamless effect. In keeping with the shade of the walls, the surrounding cabinetry is painted in Farrow & Ball Schoolhouse White. Subtle bronze details add a lustrous, and luxurious, finishing touch.
